The inspection
Is the inspection really free?
In selected areas and circumstances, All Clear Inspect may provide a free property inspection. Availability depends on location, storm history, property type and current inspection campaigns. There are no hidden costs. If anything isn't free, we'll tell you plainly and upfront.
Do you only inspect roofs?
No. Roof damage is a major focus, but our inspections may also assess related external items such as gutters, skylights, solar panels, vents, window frames, screens, walls, cladding, sheds, carports, roller doors, fencing and other storm-affected items.
Do you use drones?
Where suitable, drone or aerial inspection technology may be used to assist with roof inspection, photography, measurements and reporting. Depending on the property, we may use a site inspection, a drone inspection or both.
Do I need to climb onto the roof?
No. You shouldn't climb onto the roof yourself. Roof inspections can be dangerous and should be handled by suitable inspectors or tradespeople using appropriate safety controls.
Do you inspect commercial properties?
Yes. We inspect commercial roofs, warehouses, retail sites, strata and body corporate properties, schools, community buildings and large residential complexes. See commercial inspections.
Where do you inspect?
We focus on storm-affected areas across Queensland and New South Wales and can arrange inspections Australia-wide. Send us your address and we'll confirm whether we're currently inspecting in your area.
Insurers & assessors
Do you work for the insurance company?
No. All Clear Inspect works for the property owner. Our job is to identify, document and report on visible property damage so the owner can make informed decisions.
Do insurance assessors miss damage?
Yes, it can happen. Our inspectors regularly identify storm and hail damage that has been overlooked, dismissed or under-scoped during insurer assessments. That's why proper photographic evidence, causation notes and repair recommendations are so important.
Do you attend inspections with insurance assessors?
Where suitable, yes. If an insurer or assessor can't identify the damage, we may be able to attend a dual inspection to point out affected areas and support a more complete assessment.
My claim was denied or underpaid. Is it too late?
Not necessarily. Many owners assume a denied claim means the matter is closed. An inspection may identify additional storm-related damage or evidence that wasn't included in earlier assessments, which could support a review. Every policy and insurer is different, so we can't promise an outcome.
Reports & next steps
Are your reports designed for insurance claims?
Yes. Our reports are designed to assist with the insurance claim process by documenting damage, causation, likely storm dates, affected items and recommended rectifications in a clear format. See what's in a report.
Can I use the report with my insurer?
Yes. The report can be provided to you or your nominated representative and may assist in repair planning or claim evidence. Your insurer may still complete its own assessment.
What happens if damage is found?
We document the damage and prepare a report. Depending on your situation, we may recommend repair quoting, further testing, make-safe action, maintenance work or referral to a suitable licensed claim management specialist.
What if no damage is found?
Then you have peace of mind and a clear picture of your property's condition. There's no obligation either way.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
All Clear Inspect provides evidence and may refer you to appropriately licensed claim management specialists where required. The report can help you or your nominated representative understand and document the damage. See claim support referrals.
